Life Insurance Awareness Month Posts Strong Results
The September campaign has come to an end but there is already a lot of encouraging news to report. LIFE’s Celebrity Spokesperson Buddy ‘Cake Boss’ Valastro was well received by both the industry and consumer, reaching millions of people with his PSAs, Facebook posts and radio outreach efforts. In addition, LIFE’s Facebook Fan Page grew from 85K fans to nearly 140K fans during September with strong user engagement including thousands of comments, shares and likes.
What’s arguably most exciting is that the MIB Group is reporting that individual life insurance application activity increased 8.9% in September compared with August. While there are many factors responsible for this, the LIAM campaign and the increased effort by the industry helped contribute to the growth.
