2012 LTC Cost Report Released

Genworth’s highly-regarded, state-by-state report on LTC costs was just released and is available here.  I suggest that you make this a shortcut on your desktop for quick reference when discussing case design with your clients.

Genworth has broken down costs within most states on a regional basis.  This is particularly helpful with large states like CA where costs along the coast can be very high, while 25 miles inland, the costs can be significantly less.

Nationally, facility care (full-time nursing care) rose 4.2%.
