New Nevada LTCi training guidelines

If you have clients in the “Silver State”, The Nevada Insurance Department, in Regulation Chapter 687B, recently established a new training requirement that must be met in order to market LTC insurance  products to the public there. Producers engaged in the sale of LTC products must complete an initial 8-hour LTC training course and then must successfully complete a training course of at least 4 hours every 24 months, except for the initial 24-month period. The initial 8-hour course must be completed by October 1, 2011 to continue selling.
