Several New CE Courses Added

This month, we are excited to announce that we have added several courses to our comprehensive course catalog.

4-Hour Annuity Training Course: WebCE is dedicated to providing state-specific online CE, and has written a course to meet the new NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transaction Model Regulation training requirements in Colorado, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin called, 4-Hour Annuity Training Course. This online course provides an in-depth look at the suitability and disclosure requirements that pertain to the sale and placement of annuity products, and has been approved by the Colorado Department of Insurance, Iowa Department of Insurance, Oklahoma Department of Insurance and the Wisconsin Department of Insurance as a NAIC Annuity in Suitability training and continuing education course.

Legislative Update: 2010 Healthcare Reform Act: The 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – commonly referred to as Health Care Reform – will have a substantial impact on the insurance industry, health care providers, employers, and individuals. Those in the industry need to understand the changes the new legislation brings so that they can effectively advise their clients on its wide-ranging impact and effect. This course provides an overview of the laws’ provisions with specific implications for insurance companies and insurance producers. This course is available online, and has been approved for life and health insurance CE credit in 28 states.

Healthcare Reform: Critical Aspects of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: This course was recently approved in California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington. With these most recent course approvals, Healthcare Reform: Critical Aspects of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, is now available for life and health insurance CE credit in 23 states.

Claims Handling Best Practices: This course was recently approved in California, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, and West Virginia. With these most recent course approvals, Claims Handling Best Practice, is now available for property and casualty insurance CE credit in 48 states. This course has also been approved for adjuster CE credit in 16 states.
Avoiding Errors and Omissions Claims: A Guide for Insurance Producers: This course was recently approved in Florida, Georgia, and Nevada. With these most recent course approvals, Avoiding Errors and Omissions Claims: A Guide for Insurance Producers, is now available for property and casualty insurance CE credit in all 50 states and Washington DC. This course has also been approved for adjuster CE credit in 18 states.
Insuring Personal RVs, Watercraft,Aircraft, ATVs and More: This course was recently approved in Georgia and Nevada. With these most recent course approvals, Insuring Personal RVs, Watercraft, Aircraft, ATVs and More, is now available for property and casualty insurance CE credit in 47 states. This course has also been approved for adjuster CE credit in 14 states.

Viatical and Life Settlements: The Life Insurance Secondary Market: WebCE is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a new course, Viatical and Life Settlements: The Life Insurance Secondary Market, which has been approved for 7-hours of Kentucky life settlement CE credit. This online course provides an in-depth look at viatical and life settlement arrangements. This course also explores the markets, prospects, process, taxation, regulation, and market conduct issues associated with these arrangements.
