Amanda Barnes - Agency Relationship Director

Amanda has been with Designs In Life since 2001. After moving to California from Texas, she became involved in the business. She is the Agency Relationship Director and with her outgoing personality, makes the first contact with new agents and helps them through the contracting process. To further her knowledge in the industry, she received her life license in 2008. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys camping and spending time with her husband and dog, Toby.

Angela Dixon - Accounting and Commissions

Angela has been with Designs In Life since 1996. She handles all the accounting, finances, and commissions as well as all human resource matters. Angela received her BA in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources/Accounting. She started with Designs In Life shortly after that and has been here ever since. In her spare time, Angela enjoys camping and spending time with her family.

Bud Bridgers - Marketing Manager

Bud has been with Designs In Life since 2008. He is one of our Marketing Managers and assists agents in case design, product knowledge, proposals, and sales. He started in the life insurance industry in 1989 when he received his life insurance license. With his training in administration, compliance, and sales, he has helped many financial professionals increase their life insurance sales. Bud also specializes in long term care and disability needs. He has taught classes in senior planning, annuities, and life insurance for the American College (LUTC).

David Flores - Marketing Manager

David has been full time with Designs In Life since 2010 but has been doing business with Designs In Life since 1997. He is one of our Marketing Managers and assists agents in case design, product knowledge, proposals, and sales. He started in the life insurance industry in 1995 when he received his life insurance license. David received the New Agent of the Year award in 1996 when he first started in the business. He has been a member of the President’s Club multiple times.

Jessica Donaldson - Senior Case Manager

Jessica has been with Designs In Life since 2003. She is the senior Case Manager and follows each case throughout the underwriting process from submission to placement. To further her knowledge in the industry, she received her life license in 2008. She also received her AA in Business Management in 2006. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Shannon Jensen - New Business Manager

Shannon has been with Designs In Life since 1997 and came to the company with a legal and business background. Her paralegal skills, research, and case briefing experience have made her good at investigating and underwriting cases. Shannon specializes in impaired risk underwriting and large case underwriting, along with managing the new business and underwriting department. She is currently a student of the Academy of Life Underwriting and is actively pursuing her ALU certificate. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and dogs.

Shawn Jeanes - President

An insurance agent singe 1978, Shawn founded Designs In Life (formerly Shawn Jeanes Insurance Services) in 1986. Shawn has served as Board Chairman for Insurance Designers of America and numerous insurance company advisory boards. Shawn has received Top Wholesale Producing Awards from most of the top rated carriers in the industry.

Tiffany Donovan - Case Manager

Tiffany has been with Designs In Life since 2005. She is a Case Manager and follows each case throughout the underwriting process from submission to placement. To further her knowledge in the industry, she received her life license in 2008. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys spending time at the beach and going to concerts.

William Steffenauer - Agency Developement & Technology Directory

Will has been full time with Designs In Life since 2010 but has been the Information Technology (IT) consultant since 1997. He developed and maintains the company website, troubleshoots all technology issues, ensures everything is working properly, designs marketing pieces, and helps Designs In Life keep up with the ever-evolving technological highway. In his spare time, Will enjoys writing and recording music, spending time with his kids, hiking, biking, and the beach.
